Abstract

The management of wedding services involves various interconnected activities, including customer management, wedding package selection, booking, vendor coordination, event scheduling, payment management, and reporting. Manual and fragmented management processes can result in data duplication, inconsistent information, difficulties in retrieving records, and inefficient administrative activities. This study aims to develop a web-based Wedding Organizer Information System using the CodeIgniter framework to improve the efficiency and organization of wedding service management. The research adopts a system development approach consisting of problem identification, data collection, requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, system testing, and system evaluation. The developed system integrates customer, wedding package, vendor, booking, payment, scheduling, and reporting functions within a centralized platform. Black-box testing was conducted to evaluate the functionality of the developed system using 16 test scenarios involving Administrator, Customer, and Vendor functions. The testing results achieved a 100% success rate, indicating that all tested functions operated according to the defined requirements. System evaluation further showed that the application supports improved information accessibility, data consistency, booking monitoring, payment tracking, scheduling, and report generation. The developed system provides an integrated technological solution that can assist Wedding Organizers in reducing administrative workload, improving information management, and supporting more efficient wedding service operations.
