Research Misconduct

JCODA does not tolerate research or publication misconduct. Allegations will be assessed fairly and confidentially.

Examples of misconduct include:
  • Plagiarism
  • Fabrication
  • Falsification
  • Duplicate publication
  • Inappropriate authorship
  • Citation manipulation
  • Peer-review manipulation
  • Unethical research practices
Editorial Action: Depending on the severity and outcome of an investigation, the journal may reject, correct, withdraw, issue an Expression of Concern, or retract an article.
