Editorial Ethics
Editors of JCODA are responsible for maintaining the integrity, fairness, confidentiality, and quality of the editorial process.
Editorial decisions should be based primarily on:
- Scholarly quality
- Originality
- Relevance
- Scientific validity
Editorial Responsibilities
- Maintain manuscript confidentiality.
- Ensure fair and impartial editorial decisions.
- Manage conflicts of interest.
- Select qualified and appropriate reviewers.
- Protect the integrity of peer review.
- Respond appropriately to allegations of misconduct.
- Maintain accurate publication records.
- Issue corrections, retractions, or Expressions of Concern when appropriate.
- Maintain editorial independence.
