Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions at JCODA should be based on scholarly and ethical considerations rather than commercial, political, personal, institutional, or other inappropriate external influences.

Editors should make decisions based on:
  • Scientific quality.
  • Originality and contribution.
  • Methodological rigor.
  • Relevance to journal scope.
  • Research and publication ethics.
  • Validity of evidence and conclusions.
Commercial Independence:
Acceptance or rejection decisions must not be determined by advertising, sponsorship, author payment, institutional relationships, or other commercial considerations.
